Steps to Receive Your 金融援助 Award
Heidelberg University has a generous grant and scholarship program to help supplement family contribution. Over 97% of Heidelberg students received some form of financial assistance. The 金融援助 Office will work with you and your family to determine your family's share of educational costs and the aid available to meet those costs.
- Submit your Application for 入学
The Office of 入学 will then review your complete 入学 Application to determine your merit-based scholarship eligibility. - Set up your FSA ID and password
去 Federal Student 援助 to set up your FSA ID and password. One parent will also need an FSA ID to serve as their signature on the FAFSA. - Submit your Free Application for Federal Student 援助 (FAFSA)
Regardless of whether or not you think you will qualify for Federal 援助, it is important to complete the FAFSA in a timely fashion. The FAFSA is required to receive any additional aid beyond the merit scholarship awarded through the 入学 process. In order to speed up the process and avoid mistakes, students and parents are encouraged to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (IRS DRT) which will transfer your tax information directly to your FAFSA.
